Although devastating fires have left significant gaps in the downtown over the past decade, Falconer’s response has reflected the community’s resilience, pride, and determination to move forward. With support from New York State’s NY Forward program, Falconer is ready to unlock its full potential as a destination for commerce, high-quality jobs, culture, and community life. The $4.5 million award will build on recent momentum, including new and expanding manufacturing businesses, updated zoning regulations, and a growing calendar of community events. Strategic investments in housing, commercial and manufacturing properties, public spaces, infrastructure, and community amenities will help restore activity to Main Street, strengthen the central business district, and ensure Falconer thrives as a place to live, work, visit, and invest for generations to come.
