Village of Falconer NY Forward Boundary Map
To be eligible for NY Forward funding, projects must be located within the Falconer NY Forward boundary. The boundaries may be amended following review of proposals submitted during the Open Call for Projects.
The Falconer NY Forward Area encompasses the heart of the Village’s historic central business district, extending primarily along Main Street and Work Street. The boundary captures a concentrated mix of commercial, civic, recreational, and cultural assets, including historic storefronts, locally owned businesses, public parks, and mixed-use properties that shape Falconer’s identity and support daily community life.
Spanning approximately 121 acres and more than 220 parcels, the area follows Main Street for roughly 0.84 miles. It is generally framed by the Chadakoin River and manufacturing properties to the south, residential neighborhoods to the east, Falconer Street to the north, and the Jamestown municipal boundary to the west. A narrow extension reaches northward to include Falconer Park. Together, these areas reflect Falconer’s longstanding role as an employment, commercial, and community center within southern Chautauqua County.
